Been working hard on updating my LX's driveline. Pulled out the high compression 347 it came with when I bought it, and replaced it with a 331 with lower compression and am adding a Vortech S-Trim. I have a blower on my Cobra and I not having to mess with nitrous refills or waiting for the bottle to heat up, and worst of all, having the bottle run out at the worst possible time. I don't get a whole lot if time to work on this project, I do what I can, when I can, usually only a few hours at a time. Took this pix yesterday, I'm almost there!!

Dec 03 2006, 10:52 am It lives...! It started on the first crank, idles nice and smooth and on the initial test drive it ran excellent. As I was out on the test drive, a huge blizzard was about to overtake the upper midwest, so I had to get her home safe before the snow hit. And hit it did! We got buried in over a foot of blowing and drifting snow. What a drag! So now I have to wait it out until spring, or at least until we get an extended thaw before I can take her out again. But at least she's back together and running...! I posted a short video clip on my page from when we started her up for the first time. Check it out! ~Greg
