Went to DC on 9/12 plus made a few trips to the OH statehouse last year (in an effort to save America from....well you know) I'm too old to serve in uniform but then agin so were alot of the founders. As for the fondness, I was in the Air Force in the early/mid 70's (C-130 crew cheif). We went TDY to Rhein Mein in Feb of 75 We took a few Jars/Grunts & assorted Airdinks and gear and Stopped in England and the Azores on the way. Lages AFB in the Azores is out in the Atlantic and we had like 22 hours till we left. Go to town to git Drunk & what not. Settin on a barstool & hear Hay Fletcher. Turn arround & it was one of the Jars. I look at him "with Well hidden fear in my eyes" I reckon & sed yup what a beer Bro? He sed nope lets go find some pussy. I reply I just went broke, this is my last beer before I go back to the base. He sez I'll buy. Me: I thot all Jarheads did was beat up squids & dinks. Him: Nope ya got me here safe & I'll cover ya & ya can pay me back when we git back to the RocK (Little Rock. He did spot me That whore was old enuff to be my Mother plus 10 years. Never saw him agin after we got to Germany. Hoo-Rah & Semper Fi. PS that was the only Whore I ever been with and it took a Jarheads act of kindness to corrupt my niave mind.
