Reba aka Trinity Hello everyone! My name is Reba. I'm a new member to the 40-Decade club and learning not to give a phuck. LOL! I've just celebrated 10 years with the love of my life and the best friend I've ever had... Together we have three dogs, five cats, no kids, and two S197 Mustangs... a 2006 Stampede Edition (Trinity) and a 2007 Pony Package (Pride). Both are V6 Coupes. We are both photographers (Yeah NIKON!) and from time to time you'll see some work show up here just for grins. I hope to meet a lot of new friends and have fun discussing one of my favorite subjects - MUSTANGS!
STAMPEDE EDITION MUSTANG Ford Regional Special A total of 500 Stampede edition Mustangs were shipped to the roughly 300 Ford dealers in Texas and Oklahoma. Built upon the existing V6 Pony Package, the 2006 Ford Mustang Stampede Edition exterior options included 17-inch aluminum wheels and a pony grille with integrated foglamps. The Stampede Edition added twin 9-inch silver racing stripes, rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tips, a Stampede gas cap and special badging. This was a return to the regional specials of the sixties! A similar car was offered in California with different badging in a production run of 400.

My other Mustangs... Pics in the Gallery!
DATE: Mar 02 2007, 10:29 pm / MOOD: Other

My Mustang is called TRINITY because it is my third mustang in six years.  My first mustang was a 2002 GT Convertible in Mineral Gray and I absolutely ADORED that car.  I bought it in January 2002 and traded it in at 18.9K miles in 10/04 when I bought a 2004 40th Anniversary Mustang Coupe (Oxford White) which was a limited production of 5700.

On the 2004 Coupe the stripes were Arizona Beige (Gold), the calipers were gold, and the wheels were also Arizona Beige (Gold).  I wanted to lower my payment & insurance.  The floor mats and dash were badged as 40th Edition.  This is important to note since all 2004 cars received the 40th Anniversary badge on the sides of the car... Only the Limited Editions were on the inside as well and they only came in 3 colors. I traded this car in on June 19,2006 for Trinity and at that time Blaze had less than 12K miles on her but I had not changed a thing on the car - not even tint for the windows.

I've added pictures of both cars to my gallery.  Here are the links to the cars' pages where you can find more info and pictures.  (Check out the custom stripes and pinstriping by Autograph Sign Shoppe (Arlington,TX) on the GT Convertible!).

Clear Corners Install
DATE: Feb 10 2007, 1:37 pm / MOOD: Angry

Okay I don't mean to sound like a girl or a blonde, which of course I am both, but I am having some issues installing the new clear corners on my 2006 Stampede. The retainer clips are a @#$%# to get to from underneath the car! Of course there are no instructions with these and I can't find anything close to a "How To" anywhere on the net.  Deductive reasoning says to jack up the car, remove the front tires and access it from within the tire wells. I really don't want to do all that since 1) I don't have a jack stand 2) I don't have a ramp 3) I'm working with limited tools and 4) I'm working on this project by myself. (No one to make sure the damn car doesn't come down on me while I'm under it.)

So... Question: Have you installed clear corners on your S197? If so, post the steps you took to get it done.

New Toys!
DATE: Feb 05 2007, 5:54 pm / MOOD: Happy

Sorry I haven't responded to comments or messages lately.  Been BUSY here at work.  I go on vacation next week so I'm busting my behind to make sure everything is covered while I'm gone.

New toys ordered for Trinity should be here this week... clear corners with concealment bulbs, clear rear reflectors, sequential tail lights, billet e-brake, and 2 more pairs of (blue) showlenses.  A bit nervous about the clear corners and reflectors. I hope there are some instructions with those otherwise I may be in a fix.  I've never taken those off before. Hmmm.  Live and learn right?

Anyone gearing up for the Nationals in Oklahoma this April?  I'm debating whether to make that my first showing.  Is Trinity even ready for show... what do you think?
