Reba aka Trinity Hello everyone! My name is Reba. I'm a new member to the 40-Decade club and learning not to give a phuck. LOL! I've just celebrated 10 years with the love of my life and the best friend I've ever had... Together we have three dogs, five cats, no kids, and two S197 Mustangs... a 2006 Stampede Edition (Trinity) and a 2007 Pony Package (Pride). Both are V6 Coupes. We are both photographers (Yeah NIKON!) and from time to time you'll see some work show up here just for grins. I hope to meet a lot of new friends and have fun discussing one of my favorite subjects - MUSTANGS!
STAMPEDE EDITION MUSTANG Ford Regional Special A total of 500 Stampede edition Mustangs were shipped to the roughly 300 Ford dealers in Texas and Oklahoma. Built upon the existing V6 Pony Package, the 2006 Ford Mustang Stampede Edition exterior options included 17-inch aluminum wheels and a pony grille with integrated foglamps. The Stampede Edition added twin 9-inch silver racing stripes, rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tips, a Stampede gas cap and special badging. This was a return to the regional specials of the sixties! A similar car was offered in California with different badging in a production run of 400.

Okay I don't mean to sound like a girl or a blonde, which of course I am both, but I am having some issues installing the new clear corners on my 2006 Stampede. The retainer clips are a @#$%# to get to from underneath the car! Of course there are no instructions with these and I can't find anything close to a "How To" anywhere on the net.  Deductive reasoning says to jack up the car, remove the front tires and access it from within the tire wells. I really don't want to do all that since 1) I don't have a jack stand 2) I don't have a ramp 3) I'm working with limited tools and 4) I'm working on this project by myself. (No one to make sure the damn car doesn't come down on me while I'm under it.)

So... Question: Have you installed clear corners on your S197? If so, post the steps you took to get it done.

Nevermind... Mission accomplished.

Ended up removing some of the screws and retainer clips from the wheel well so that I could access the turn signal lens better.  Once that was done the install took maybe 20-30 minutes from start to finish.  I was making the entire thing too difficult.
