This is not a joke people.  I could never dream this bullshit up in a milion days.  I have a 2006 mustang.  My driver's side rear view is broken so I took the car to be repaired at my local dealer under the warranty.  I went to get my car back at the end of the day and was told my car will not be fixed under warranty because digital imaging denied my claim.

Digital imaging is a new program Ford has implemented where if you come in for warranty work then photos of your defective parts are sent to Ford for review by the digital imaging department.  If this department decides that the defective part is broken through negligence or whatever they decline to fix the part.

I was told that my mirror is broken due to it being hit by something yet it was not.  The mirror is in perfect condition on the exterior of the car.  The part that is broken is in the motor of the power mirror.  I WAS DENIED WARRANTY COVERAGE THAT I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED DUE TO THIS PROGRAM.

When I called the customer service department of Ford to dispute this denial as I was told to do by my dealership I was hung up on two different occasions.  My dealership  has told me that they cannot help me either.

YES BELIEVE IT OR NOT YOUR BRAND NEW MUSTANG COULD HAVE A TRANNY GO OUT OR A HEAD GASKET BLOW AND FORD WILL NOT FIX IT UNDER WARRANTY IF THEY SO DESIRE.

FORD QUALITY MEANS NOTHING EVEN TO FORD.

Was the dealership you took your car to the one you purchased your Mustang at? If it was I would be asking to see the service manager or sales manager and see if they can help you with it, especially if there is absolutely no exterior damage to the mirror.
