Born and raised in Maryland. Duties as a military wife moved me to Georgia and then to Illinois. I am happiliy married to Leo and mom to Robert and Grace. I own an embroidery shop. I have loved mustangs for as long as I can remember. Looking back at highschool pictures I noticed all of my homecoming and prom dates owned mustangs.(LOL) My first was a 87 LX(hatch) 5 speed in oxford white with red interior. I lost that in the divorce. My husband and I just recently purchased an 89 GT 5.0 convertible automatic in Bright Red with Red interior and a 92 LX hatch 5.0 automatic in Deep Emerald Green with grey interior. We can't wait for it to warm up so we can start working on them. The original plan was the convertible was to be given to my son to drive when he turned 16. We desided that he needed something a little more sturdy over his head. So the LX hatchback came home a few months later. Now we have his and hers mustangs that our son and daughter will get to enjoy with us. When we deside to get rid of our Explorer (many years from now) the plan is to get a new Mustang. But for now we need to haul around kids in sports so the Explorer stays. P.S. My MIL currently owns a Mustang and has had a few others before this one. Must run in the family. {}

More on the saga of the convertible top. WELL........we thought we were almost done till we realized that the frame itself is out of adjustment really bad. You can't tell when the frame is bare. It sits fine because there is nothing pulling it. We realized that the passanger side is out of adjustment. It is actually rubbing on the car and wont let it go forward all the way. About 2 inches short. After all of this we may have also cut the window a little short at the top. We will find out after we make all the adjustments.

The LX is undrivable also. The speedometer is the problem. Not the cable or any of the other crap that we tested. So the dash is still apart and I am on the hunt for  just the speedometer.

So may first has come and gone and I can't drive either of my cars.
