Born and raised in Maryland. Duties as a military wife moved me to Georgia and then to Illinois. I am happiliy married to Leo and mom to Robert and Grace. I own an embroidery shop. I have loved mustangs for as long as I can remember. Looking back at highschool pictures I noticed all of my homecoming and prom dates owned mustangs.(LOL) My first was a 87 LX(hatch) 5 speed in oxford white with red interior. I lost that in the divorce. My husband and I just recently purchased an 89 GT 5.0 convertible automatic in Bright Red with Red interior and a 92 LX hatch 5.0 automatic in Deep Emerald Green with grey interior. We can't wait for it to warm up so we can start working on them. The original plan was the convertible was to be given to my son to drive when he turned 16. We desided that he needed something a little more sturdy over his head. So the LX hatchback came home a few months later. Now we have his and hers mustangs that our son and daughter will get to enjoy with us. When we deside to get rid of our Explorer (many years from now) the plan is to get a new Mustang. But for now we need to haul around kids in sports so the Explorer stays. P.S. My MIL currently owns a Mustang and has had a few others before this one. Must run in the family. {}

The convertible top is now on. So glad that project is over. We did pick up some turbine wheels on friday. They need to be cleaned and repainted. Hopefully a new set of tires will go on the car before turkey festival.

The lx now has a new speedometer in it and is running just fine.

Leo is doing a tuneup on both cars right now.

If you are in the Central Illinois area on June 14 between 12-3 stop by the Tremont Turkey Festival car show and say HI!!! You can vote for us to!! I know both cars are a big work in progress. We thought it would be cool to document all the things we do to the car and bring them every year to the car show so people can see the changes.
