2008 The Year of 2 Ponies

2008 brought me two fox body ponies. I have loaded a few pictures that we took when we picked them up. As you can see in the pictures that the ponies need some loving care.

We purchased the convertible in May off of Ebay. (LOL)

The first change we made was replacing the broken LX seats with a pair of correct GT seats. The previous owners had done an interesting paint job on the car and there was major over spray inside. Orange oil and elbow grease corrected that. The seats were steam cleaned. We purchased a shift kit and the 5.0 emblems that are missing on the car. After we ran the tag we found out the car is red/titanium and had a black top. So at the end of driving season off came the white top. The black will be put on this spring. There are many other little extras that we will do to the car (WHEELS) before we paint it again the correct colors.

We picked up the Emerald Green LX early november. We havn't done anything to it yet. It will deffinatly need new headlights and speedometer before we can drive it in the spring.

We would like to eventually put a T5 in both cars. I miss having a stick.
