just finished installing new motor last night. I want to ball up in a corner and cry like a three year old. after a night of toil one thirty in the morn came and motor was in spun it over to get oil pressure all was good 60psi put plugs in and fired beautiful sound came at last. then it happend bud mark was watching gauges oil pressure 0 killed it started cheking line make sure nothing was afoul nope! this point I am in a daze not really sure if this is happening. two thirty comes and goes engine is loose and ready to pull.At this point racing on sat is out.Four in the morn comes engine on stand pan off bearings look good.Oil pump all in order what the F!^# So we pull the cam or should I say try to pull cam yep spun bearings Yes BEARINGS! I put that cam in my self like a heart surgeion would some ones thumper. so now it is seven in the morn I am tired and disgusted. Called Red the guy who preps my blocks in some vain hope he would have a block that was just waiting to be assembeld NOPE DUH!! But then he suggest maybe the bearings or bearing seats where wrong. me up since five oclock friday morning suddenly clicked back in to the real world. I dont do the cam bearings that is reds cup of tea he is one of the best engin builders I know my first motor was one he built. And for a man to just come out and say (HEY I MIGHT HAVE F$##*^ UP ) tells you about his morals. So I am going to take a nap get up, take my last unraped block in to the shop and work it over.hoping the racing gods are with me this round!!!!
