The 2007 thread is soooooo long I thought I'd start a fresh one. Who'd a thought there were so many NASCAR fans here?
Actually I am a fan of auto racing in general. I hear that Speed vision will be covering some of my NASA races this year...that'd be cool
So, to start the controversial first topic....my new favorite driver is going to be Jacques Villeneuve.
He's a classy guy (qualified 6th in his first race, but decided to zero his steering before the green flag so that he was out of the way of the chasers and took the back seat...class class class!), has ton's of driving skills and loves to compete. In the event that Jacques does not qualify I am going to chear on Franchitti, another open-wheel infiltrator
After that crash last year, you just gotta cheer for that guy.

Of course now that Jr has joined my old favorite driver (Casey Mears) on the NG team I guess I have to be a Jr fan now too
