I own a 1979 2.3 Turbocharged Cobra and love it to death, going to upgrade with a stinger header, roller cam setup out of a ranger pickup and maybe later upgrade to EFI.

Be careful, most of those evil bay headers are junk,, cracking at the welds 10 minutes after you start the car...

Oh, and btw,, I am getting another SVO today, an 84 9W (grey)

I have an 87 turbocoupe sitting here , there are several SVo's for sale over on www.turboford.net and www.svoca.com.
the 9W is in great shape, all the SVO specific parts are there and in perfect shape Can't wait to get it back together and going..

My first Mustang was an SVO, I have owned a total of three altogether. At one time I had two of them at the same time...

This is the 3rd SVO, it had a sunroof.

Here's a pic of my 1st and 3rd SVO together. The white coupe was also a 4 cyl.

These two pics are of my 1st SVO, the car was lowered with Eibach springs, CC plates, new KONI struts and shocks...I had installed an '86 front headlight kit. But all three SVOs were 1984 models.

These are pics of my second SVO, medium canyon red with T-Tops! Out of the three cars, I miss the red one the most...

Here's some 4 cyl. stangs that my brother owned...His plan was to yank out the 2.3 and swap in a 5.0. Needless to say, the rolling chassis for both cars were sold after my brother gave up on these projects..
