Default Front Lower control arms HELP ME!!!

ok heres the story. My 4 banger is out of commission because the passenger side ball joint failed. Unfortunatley it did it while on the road, fortunately I was able to keep from toataling the car. Anyway when it broke the control arm dropped into the brake rotor grinding them both to crap. My question to anyone who reads this and can help me is would it be possible to buy control arms from a salvage yard and replace the ball joints in them? If not, can I use control arms from newer mustang that has better, possibly more trustworthy balljoints? I am trying to find a cheaper way to fix my car than buying new control arms with money I really don't have. Please help me if you can

Yes, you can go to a yard, then try to find the ball joints for them, but, IMO, do not go cheap with suspension parts, get new ones and be done with it and know it's good to go.
