IMO the best all around intakes are the GT-40 style. You can pick up an explorer version pretty cheap. Port the lower and you have a great street intake for all around useage. A gt-40 style will give up a little in the upper rpm ranges, but the area under the curve is usally much better. Of course it all depends on your usage, and engine combo. What cam are you running? Just for example I run an explorer intake with Performer heads and a Comp XE-270 cam. Runs 12.7s and pull 23 mpg on the highway.
