The GT-40 intakes are decent for mid range performance, and are all around decent, when ported, however even then they are not the best. Once you start to get in the upper levels of performance, such as 350-400 rwhp +, they do tend to fade out, especially if you have a cam aimed at raising the power band as even a ported GT-40 fades after around 5000 RPMs, and quickly at that. Don't get me wrong, I love my Cobra/GT-40 ported intakes, and I can't wait to get the X-303 heads on with the S/C, however, they are by no means perfect.
