Yes, the 5.0 is a great motor, but very slow in it's stock for, which is why I gave you the links. Now is the best time to do an engine build because it's 100X easier to work on, nothing is in the way, just pull the parts off, and put the new stuff on, no removing 20 million sensors, no draining the cooling system, no fighting to get good leverage on a bolt, it's all easier to work on.
Trust me, you'll be 100X happier with the swap if you put on a new set of heads, and intake, you don't have to do the cam (I didn't on mine for example), but at least when you pull the heads, drop the oil pain, pull the internals, and put new rings and bearings in like I stated along with honing the block, that way it will be like you have a new motor and not a worn out old 5.0 going into your car.
