Default In the market

I'm in the market for a 66 Mustang. I found one in the Newspaper that said partial restoration but it also said too many new parts to list. I have not looked at it yet but when i do, what should i look for before I buy it? (ex. engine, trans, brakes etc.)

Did you end you buying your '66 stang? I am sure we could put together tips if needed. What did you end up getting? My personal favs are the mustangs from '66 to '73. I am not sure how this posting was overlooked although back then, we most likely had a smaller staff running MMS. Still no excuses. Take care.
