Just painting the racing stripes on it, getting some chrome 18" wheels, etc...I haven't decided on putting on a sportier looking hood though. Would I have to buy a brand new hood if I wanted a hood scope or could I get someone to modify the existing one? Also, how much does it cost for the racing stripes?
Here's my car. I love it to death, but it probably is kind of plain compared to what you guys have been a witness to.
I would love to put a supercharger on it, but heck..I'm not going to be racing it (except out on the streets..lol) and I think a 300 horse power V8 is more than enough for the streets. But heck, if someone offered to give me a supercharger, I definitely wouldn't turn it down!

I have Shelby type stripes front to rear and on both sides, They cost me $872 at my local Ford body shop... It will depend on who does the job and what type of stripes you want.. If you want them to appear factory with a couple of coats of clear, you will be looking at another $1,000 -$1,500 bucks, I'm guessing here.
A hood scoop can be install on your stock hood or you can buy a custom hood of your liking.. the difference in price for a hood scoop and a hood is about $300 - $500 bucks.
Have fun making up your mind...

Thanks Bobby! I figured it would take me at least about a couple thousand dollars to do what I want done to the body. I'll feel more like working on it once I've paid the thing off...hahaha!
I guess I should've posted this in the body forum. I didn't even realize that forum was here until just now!

Hey..!! I can understand the "when I get it paid off" part of that... I am retired and on a fixed income and I don't have much to work with at the end of the month..
There's a guy here in town that has an 06 GT with the Cervini Elenor kit, it is Vista Blue and he had white shelby type stripes with 1/4" accent stripes front to rear and side stripes with 18" bullitt wheels and the Cervini side ehauxt. He told me the kit install and the stripes cost almost $9,000.
So you have a lot to look forward to... LOL.

The plan is extensive AND EXpensive. Five year plan. The clock started ticking Feb 27, 07, when I got the car.
Goals:
1.0g or higher handling.
130 or higher trap speed
60 to 0 braking in 100 feet. THATS going to be impossible I think without making the car unstreetable or undergoing irreversible mods.
I wont be surprised that Ill have paid almost as much as the car was originally sold for just on the engine. And probably half that on the suspension and brakes.

WOW!!! It can get expensive! I'm not really too worried about improving the engine that much. I mean, I bought a GT, and unless I'm going to be racing it (which I'm not) 300 horses is plenty enough for me to get a wreckless driving ticket...lol! Now, that isn't to say I won't do some mechanical upgrades, but I'm mostly interested into body upgrades.

K, cool. My cosmetic mods will be very limited, basically just stripes and upgraded wheels. but the wheels serve the purpose of more rubber and brake clearance. I just want the balls out, take no prisoners, 99th Percentile car.

Hey...if you got the cash, definitely go for it! I'm also trying to save up for a house, so the things I want to do to my car are kind of limited. Plus, VA has just got through making more strict penalties and fees for speeding and wreckless driving, so I can't afford to have too fast of a car...lol!!!

Well, I dont have the money now, hence a five year plan. And I dont speed, etc. But, if I need it or want it, I can lay the smack down big time once the cars done.
