C&l
I've got the C&L racer with a brenspeed tune and it made a huge difference. I am eventually going to mod the car more which is why I opted for the racer (hope to get some cams in within the next couple months).

I use BBK mainly for dress-up purposes, but I've heard that JLT is the best for performance gains.

I personally run the bbk intake on my 99 cobra, the only reason i do is because it clears my STB. The metal intakes get very hott(dont get a metal one). I have helped install 2 of JLT's Cold air intakes, and they are very nice pieces, they dont get heat soaked like the metal ones. If you get a JLT go ahead and get theit refilters for the pvc hose. Also heard that WMS makes a nice intake thats plastic and will clear an STB.

I have a Roush CAI on mine, but that would definitely be paying for the name.

Ok.... So Rather than post a whole new topic for generally the same question, what's the best for a 3.8? I was looking at a BBK one, but I'm a college kid that is looking to get a tattoo and still trying to pay off the car...soooo yeah $170 was a little on the steep side.
Any ideas?
And one other thing... a buddy of mine said adding the cold air might actually make my stang rumble a little more--(no...the exhaust isn't the stock v-6... it's the stock GT system) Is that accurate? Because I really didn't think it would be very noticable.
