My Project...

So i thought i would start this area off with a post about my classic i am restomodding.
Its a 1968 Mustang Fastback, i bought it for my 25th Bday back in Feb.
This is what it looked like when i got it

I took it to get mineral blasted

This was all hidden under Bondo

Both floorpans were bad

I replaced the floorpans and added a 4 point roll bar


Started doing some body working, fixing the low spots and filling the dents that couldn't be hammered all the way out

Got my Shelby Scoops



And this is where i am at now, i have run out of money from buying all new parts and stuff for the interior, etc.

My dad's Cobra is painted Laser Red which is the color i plan on painting my 68

My plans are;
- paint it laser red
- install a MII front suspension on it with custom front clip with supports that mount on the firewall, it'll have QA1 coil overs, etc
- All new sheet metal under the hood, no more shocktowers
- Ford 9 inch rearend with coil overs and 4 link with a custom rear clip
- and the biggest thing of all is a 514 625HP Big Block Ford with long tubes, h pipe with some good mufflers, its going to be loud as hell with a TKO500 tranny
- Interior will be all black

nice i cant wait to finally start a project car with my boyfriend. and i cant wait to get a job so i can build the car of his dreams and give it to him as a present..but when i start to build it i am going to need some help!!

Heres some pics of how i want it to look like.

This Fastback has a 460Big Block in it, notice the weird hood scoop? Not sure i like that but if i have to do something like that with my 514 then i will make it a functional scoop that faces forward not backward like this guy. Maybe a tall 428 scoop or something? Not sure.


This black one is badass, it Sits exactly how i want mine to sit, has the same rims that i want except mine i want painted black in the center with a chrome lip, possibly deep dish not sure. I haven't decided if those rims would work with Laser Red paint. Also see the side mirror? Its a 69-73 mirror and i liked how its painted to match the car so i bought the same one. Not sure what engine is in this beast but its nice. I also like the front grill how its so clean with no fog lights or anyhting and jsut one badge. I might put a Cobra badge in mine since the 514 has Super Cobra Jet heads on it
