Default What's the difference?

Between a Quarter panel and a quarter panel skin?
I'm pretty sure that I got it right but here's what I'm taking it to mean:
Quarter panel is what's applied to the car for structure and sppoer the skin is applied to look good and get painted....Right?

a quarter panel skin is just that, the sheet metal... a quarter panel is a skin that extends up and around the curves, has flanges for support and weather stripping, some extend into the door jambs installs at factory joints

So if I had a major dent in my car I would need to replace the panel not the skin right?

will mainly depend on if the attaching points are still useable,,,,you will use lots less body filler if you use a whole quarter panel,, not just a skin,,,,may be a tad more work but in my opinion well worth the trouble... less body filler.easier to get it straight,,

Default What's the difference?

What's the Difference is a book on gender roles from a biblical perspective, written by John Piper. It was first published by Crossway Books in 1990. It has been reprinted several times since, most recently in March 2008. In 1991 it formed the first chapter of Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, which was awarded the Christianity Today Book of the Year in 1993.
