Default Kettlebells for Serious Athletes

I had seen kettle bells lying around my gym and it never occurred to me that they might be useful for my

fitness objectives. I had always assumed they were a fad, but then tried them out and was pleasantly

surprised. I dont want to get bulky, rather I want that lean chiseled look and never ending strength with good functional strength carry over to the sports I practice, e.g. running, martial arts and skiing.

It should be noted that these are fitness tools for probably better for people that are already in decent

shape because of the difficulty of the moves and the possibility of hitting yourself with a heavy weight.

I have attached a few my favorite articles on the benefits of kettle bells but i can summarize

- improved grip strength
- stronger tendons, ligaments
- ability to withstand shock
- full body strength workout: glutes, legs, arms, shoulders
- increased core strength

If people have experience with kettle bells good or bad, let me know.
