Default Gt 40 heads tfs stg 1 cam

I am in the process of installing Gt40p heads on my mustang with a trickflow stage one cam .499in .510ex. i was wondering how much horsepower this is going to increase me. I will not be installing the gt40 intake because of money issues, using the stock one till i can afford the upgrade. I also am installing 1.6 ratio roller rockers. The guy i bought it from had all this stuff on his 308.But he had Lt headers he ran a 1.6 sixty foot and a 13.09 1/4 mile at 109. How much overall hp do you think i will have when this is all installed?

Gt 40 heads should increase horsepower by around 30. With the intake change you woint see all of it until you change the intake. Remember as well, with the gt40p (Explorer)heads, you will also have to change the headers.

There are several places that sell the headers specifically for the GT40p heads. Example Mustangs Unlimited part number M9430P50 FRPP, there are others. Mac, BBK and others make these headers specific for that application in the fox and SN-95.
