Default 89 5.0 egr vacum

im wondering where the vacum hose comes from that goes to the egr. I think that it comes from the intake manifold and if so then im ok and i just need to block off the egr. Am i right?

Rephrase your question, I believe you have a few typos there lol.

There's several vacume hoses that lead to the intake and none are part of the EGR, the EGR just runs from the headers to the side of the intake by the throttle body (on Sn-95 5.0s). Now there are 4 vacume lines that connect to the intake. Two I have no idea their exact purpose, and two that connect to the PCV (94/95 5.0).

No not the intake, it comes from vaccum tree behind the passenger side shock tower or by the a/c condenser. Like the pic listed below. One line goes to the back of intake, one goes to the egr, and one goes to the smog pump valve. Not sure if theres more I only had three.

If you are getting rid of your EGR (like I did) you need to buy a piece that plugs into it's wiring harness and fools the computer to think it's still there. Otherwise you will always have the CEL (Check Engine Light) on. You can get em on ebay for cheap.
