I'm new to the site and am hoping to get some advice. My 92 Mustang GT has some frame rot on the left front just below the shock tower. It's not completely gone but it's seen better days. It's located on the front subframe just below the brake distribution block. Can this be repaired/replaced? How would I go about it? Please don't tell me to scrap it I have been involved with this car for 10 years and have grown quite found of it. It was originally a father/son project that I did for my then 19 year old son. He has since had a family and has given the car to me since I did so much work on it. Gotta love those kids!
Well I'd need to see exactly where it's at, but most parts are replaceable, main thing is to try to locate all the major areas or work and have them replaced, then bring your car to a shop to have the underbody resealed.
