FORDMUSCLE webmagazine: Mustang AOD to T5 Swap. Transmission Swap. Auto to manual conversion.

I will update the parts list if I find anything else.

T5 bellhousing and bolts

tranny with shifter

50oz flywheel ( 1986 or later 302 for 10.5" clutch )

clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing

flywheel bolts & clutch bolts

clutch pedal assembly, clutch cable set-up

clutch fork & clutch fork cover

Tranny mount

correct speedo gear for your speedo

console trim plate, upper/lower boots, shift knob

The crossmember will work, the drive shaft is the same aod or manual but this is a good time for a frpp aluminum ds .

There is no problem running a manual on an auto's computer, some have had trouble running a auto on a manual computer though.

**important note** when the auto is out you must cut the hole in the floor larger, the manual cars have a different opening than auto's. The shiter on the T5 will hit the floor if you don't cut it. the part to cut is about 1"-2"'s of the hole towards the front of the car so the shiter can fit through the hole.

I may be forgetting some so other can add to it.
