don't know honestly, had mine running around 5 grand with the stock t5, 2.73 gears and 225/60/15's out back. i just know i was loving it and so was my fiance. but i have been 189 in a fox. don't know what gears the guy had but he did have a digital dash and he dared me to top it out while he was drunk. god i miss that feeling.

My current project hasnt gone past 85 but my last 91 lx I bought new saw 140 a few times and ran mid 12's.. The fastest I ever went wasnt in a mustang once was a 928 porsche that was wicked! The other one of my friends had a 91 z28 with a 350 and tons of mods including a 250 shot.. We were rolling along about 150 on the interstate and he say I wonder what will happen if I juice it? Well we hit a single stage 250 shot at 150 and I thought we were gonna go back in time for a second! Fortunatly being a typical chevy it went scary fast for about 10 seconds.. How fast I dont know? I am guessing 180ish..
It was crazy!

Anyway it burnt a couple pistons and trashed the tranny..

I would never abuse a perfectly good ford that way but I'll trash a chevy any day of the week! especially if it aint mine lol!

I hit about 145 with room to go on my 91gt..slightly modified..but that is before the SC thats going to be installed around feb. was going with a vette..but i figured thats fast enough down the Hwy ...would suck to be pulled over going that fast...But keep in mind it was early in the morning No cars on the road.

142 in my 01 lightning on a narow blacktop. i know it's not a mustang but the speedo in my 82 won't let it go over 85.

I had my 2.3 liter 88 stang going about 80 mph in 4th gear on the highway

I've topped my 93 at 125 but when the drive shaft gives a little vibration you tend to back it off. We'll have to see what she can do with a rebuilt trans and new u-joints.

my little foxy went 14.28 on sunday at the track LAME she has issues! My MPH was 99 though in the 1/4. I got the MPH to get into the 13s but she wasnt working! Im still happy though!
