Default 1979 Fuel Sender/Gauge Problems

Hello everyone, I'm new here, I have a 1979 Hatchback, with a 302 under her hood, mechanically she's in great condition and she runs amazingly. The only problem I'm having is with my fuel gauge, it isn't reading accurately. I'm suspecting either the fuel sender or the the gauge itself or both, to eliminate the problem entirely I'm going to just replace both the gauge and sender.

What I am wondering is; Where the sender is located and where a replacement sender and gauge can be purchased. I have tried various websites and the local auto parts shops and I have come out with nothing, any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tibarus
