Search feature in Gallery

Under the browser search in the gallery. Would it be possible to do a add a search by username also. The reason I ask is because lets say you want to post your pics on your personal page and you have to use the "Image URL/Location:" code, when you look under your own gallery from your page, the Image URL/Location: code doesn't show up below the pic. Otherwise if you just search the entire gallery, it does show up under the pic. I tried using the address that show up on the address bar on top odf my screen but it just puts a link on my page rather the nthe pic. If I'm doing something wrong and it's the reason why it's not working, please let me know.
