***MMS Photo Contest***

The Lowdown:
I have been meaning to get another contest going for awhile and I apologize for the delay......however, this one is going to be fun! As long as you have a stang and a camera, you have almost everything you need to enter the contest! The contest starts immediately and contest entries will no longer be accepted after May 31, 2007 at midnight (CST). The Grand Prize will be awarded to the overall winner, and prizes will also be given out for the second and third place winners.

How it Works:
This contest is very, very easy. Each one of the following requirements MUST be met. Failure to meet all the requirements will result in not being eligible for prizes. For this contest, there will be TWO chances to win!

1. Entrants simply need to take a picture of their mustang. However, one of the following requirements must be met when taking the picture.

::The first option is to take a picture of your car with your significant other posing/standing/sitting in/next to the mustang. Be creative, all that matters is that the pic has your car and somebody else in the picture. If you happen to not have a significant other, do not worry, you can have a friend stand in for you and help you out.

::The second photo option is for you to take a picture of your car in a patriotic way. There are a number of ways to be patriotic, some easy examples are to possibly have a battleship in the background, an armed forces member in uniform with your car, etc. You can be very creative with this and have fun with it.

2. Once you have your picture, you will need to email it to contest@mymustangsite.com . Please be sure to include your MMS username with your email. Only one photo per person per contest category can be submitted. The reason for emailing the pics instead of posting them in the gallery is that I don't want someone to lose and edge for having a creative idea exposed for everyone to see before the deadline.

3. After the deadline arrives, I will post up all photos in the forums and all members will have one week to vote for their favorites. (IT WILL BE IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO GET YOUR FRIENDS TO VOTE FOR YOU - post to their page asking them to vote - send messages - etc) The pictures with the most votes in each category will be winners. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each category will be awarded prizes. Prizes will be listed and updated as necessary throughout the contest.

Rules:
-All requirements must be met. Failure to meet all will result in you not being eligble for the listed prizes.
-Site administrator (me/admin) is not eligible for the contest.
-Photoshopped pictures will be disqualified.
-If supposed winner is found breaking any of the rules, that user will be disqualified from the contest and next highest vote getter will become first place winner.
-Adjustments may be made to these rules/deadlines at the discretion of MyMustangSite.com. New rules/adjustments will be made on this page.

Duration:
-Contest is effective immediately and will end May 31, 2007 at midnight (CST).

cool, if that is the case and your pic has him in it, you can submit a pic to be entered in each category....just be sure to note that you want it entered in both categories when you email it in.

this will be acceptable for all users who have a significant other in the armed forces, just be sure to mention it in your email when turning in your pic.

I might like to donate to the prize list. I would assume that would cut me out of the running for this contest huh? Are there any guidelines to what you can offer as a prize?

the only thing i can think of regarding the prize is that i would like it to be mustang related if possible. if it is something not mustang related, i will just need to think about it before adding it to the prize list....but chances are i won't have a problem with ading another prize to the list if you decide to donate

as for being out of the contest, this is something i need to think about before giving an answer......i don't see why you would not be able to participate....the users of the site will vote for the overall winners in each category, not me. but unfortunately some may feel that since you donated something to the contest, that you may have an edge at getting a few extra votes because of the donation. hopefully that makes sense....

pm me what you would like to offer up and we can go from there.
