Thanks IIGood, what do people think of the 2010 stang? Any thoughts? I like the profile of the car.

I'm certainly liking the car overall as well. The slightly cowled hood, the general lines, some new wheels...very nice. The black plastic at the bottom of the rear bumper and for the rockers is a little odd, but not horrible. The GT500 looks pretty sharp too.

I read how JOB 1 is scheduled for 2/2/09 and Ford is supposed to start accepting orders for the '10s in late November. Gonna make for a short run of 2009 models.

I really need to come up with $35K quick. LOL.

I like the car as well especially the cowled front. The gold color looks great in the ad. My father tells me the early 1970s stangs were in the 3K to 4K range. My, my how prices have escalated since then to 35K! Unfortunately, there is no end in sight to the inflationary pressures given the loose money bailout packages being bandied about. Anybody else have a reaction?

The prices are getting wacky on new cars. It's a bit sad that what the Mustang was originally designed to be isn't necessarily true anymore; an "affordable" sports car. Kinda messed up when a new V6 costs as much as what I paid for my new GT in '03. Ah well...screwed up economy, I tell ya.

My dad's still got the paperwork from the '77 Mustang hatchback he bought new back then..."only" $2800!

I wouldnt be to greedy, I would just like to get a new car for the same price as the 87 LX 5.0, what $10,000 more or less.
