Server Upgrade in the works - Ford Mustang Forums

just thought i would give everyone a heads up that a server upgrade is in the works and will happen sometime this week. with the new server, i hope to eliminate the occasional slow site loading times and partial downtime the site experiences from time to time during high traffic times.

i don't expect any lengthy downtime for the site while this is happening, but the site will be turned off for a period of time so that we can transfer all the current files to the new server. there may be a day or two that the site will need to be accessed directly by an IP address instead of mymustangsite.com. once i know what the new IP address is, i will post it up so everyone will still be able to access the site

the move to the new server is complete

sorry for the downtime yesterday/last night....hopefully the withdrawals from not accessing the site were not too severe

we should see a big increase of speed/load times for the site compared to before. be sure to check out our sponsors and thank them for sponsoring MMS......without them we could not upgrade the site like we were able to do. so stop on by one of the sponsors and pick up something new for the stang

ok everyday i come to this site and the only thing working is the furums. but everyday i'm getting commets so my email says. is the site down or not?

the site is not down...in fact since the server upgrade, i don't think there has been any downtime i am aware of? can you not access your profile page? i just looked at it and it loaded fine?

i can't get to anything but the forums still.... can't signup for a new one nothing... this is what i get everywhere i go

wow that is weird....i have no idea why you get that....it might be a setting in your internet browser? i don't use internet explorer often, but i can get the site to load up fine in it? have you tried using firefox or do you have access to another computer to see if you have the same problem? what happens when you go to Mustang Forums - Online Ford Mustang Forums | Pictures of Mustangs » MyMustangSite.com ?

ive noticed a HUGE improvement in the load time for the bulletins. Thats awesome!!
