Default Hola from a newbie

Hello all, my name is Justin and I recently became a Mustang owner, when I purchased a used 2007 V6 Coupe. I grew up idolizing my dad's 68 Mustang, but not being much of a car guy played it safe with a V6 automatic.

I'm interested in any mods I could make to the car to make it faster and better looking, if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks

welcome to mms. and well to add some power. you should look into some heads and intake. you can basically do anything to a car to im prove it. better fuel system almost anything. but ya

should look into some heads in take and stuff like that. and looks, get some white strips on your blue stang. hids and all sort of stuff.

here look at this web site Mustang Performance Parts & Mustang Accessories -Ninosport.com

Hey Welcome as well if it's new & under a FOMOCO warrenty I'd be careful as to what you do as far as mods ! why well somethings if you have a problem & they prove that because of said mod caused in guess what the warrenty in Null & Void on that issue I believe , that's why I have only done a CAI K&N and a Flash Tuner , someting I can set back in 5 minutes if need. some dealer ships even give out an evil eye on just a CAI so be smart read a lot & don't be in a rush the car looks great the way it is !

Welcome to the site. There are a lot of things you can do with a new V6, but correction to an earlier post, there are no aftermarket heads or intakes, only way to make your current heads and intake better is to port match them, put in 1.7 roller rockers (not a lot of gain though), and get a new set of cams (not sure where you can get them for the new SOHC V6s though).

The basic mods like a CAI, tuner, and exhaust will make the car a little more fun to drive, but don't expect to get your socks knocked off. Best mods for you would be to get exhaust first, nothing beats the extra sound, and the torque boost you get with opening up the exhaust. After that upgrade to a limited slip differential and 3.73 gears. This will make the car acellerate better, and will allow for better traction off the line as only your back right tire is currently supplying all the power. After that, it's up to you, but if you're serrious, get a tuner, then get a supercharger and end it.
