This is one of those threads where you're gonna get 1 billion different answers because everything sounds different, in retrospect, to another person's ear. What sounds awesome to one person, may be just plain out annoying to a another (such as fart cans are on 4 cylinders).

To me, when it comes to exhaust, I look at overall performance and quality. Flowmastes, while having a tone that appeals to the general public, aren't the best quality, as they're prone to rust over the long run, and aren't the best for performance, as they're also one of the most restrictive exhaust systems on the market. A test was ran quite some time back and Magnaflow was the best performing exhaust, then Borla, Mac, and Bassani, and yes the test was ran on an 05 Mustang GT. I no longer have the article, but it was pretty cool. Borla, Magnaflow, and Bassani are about the best in quality you can get as well.

My advice is to go to youtube and listen to several clips and pick out what you like best.

Talking exhaust

Like posted earlier, sound is anybodys game, and there own opion. That being said, I work at steeda and hear all of them. I like the steeda sound which is borla. The mrp's next then even bassini. These are the highest quality exhaust on the market. They have a nice idle, then through the rpm nice increase in decibal without being drowny. if thats a word..lol If you guys have any questions on our parts let me know. I can see if i can help. Thanks
