Default First mechanical mod...

I scored the Ford Racing Stingers used for 250$. A weeks worth of use the guy said.

Dirty

Clean...and annoyingly blurry

I dont have the car back together yet from when I took it apart after my May vacation for cleaning. But, I took the stocks off tonight, did a quick start with the "open header" version, then mocked up the Stingers and did a quick start there. Its going to be great. These give me the motivation to get my azz in gear and get the car cleaned, finished and back together so I can ENJOY the sound. Im looking forward to doing the open header on the streets as well. And I lose 14 pounds because of them.

Are you going to run an Xpipe or are you staying with the stock H?

Sweet -- I run an X with a Bassani exhaust... the X is easy to put in too... takes about an hour and 15 minutes

Well, Ive decided Ill do an H instead. I know the X adds power, but the rasp isnt good. Im trying to get as close to that "Steve McQueen Bullitt" sound. I cant duplicate it because its not a big block. But, the ARH headers and off road H with the Stingers gets pretty freakin close.
