they have the hood problem on the race cars also. They have actually flown off a few times even with the hood pins. Shows how much power those 5.0 cammers really have
ohh yea i've gotten a friends topped out also his is around 160 with a gear change
Not just "How Fast" but, how fast for how long? I've got 130mph (+/-) for 30+ minutes on the Autobahn . Would'a pushed it to the limit(er) but my wife was with me . And by the way... no hood shake .
i've hit 146 with more to go. was racing and friend from work who has a 03 mach 1. about the hood shake mine started at 70 to75 i adjusted the hood stops and cleared most of it up but still shakes a little at 120+.
Hello all,
I have the dealer installed CDC hood Shaker. Do you guys think this may relief some of the hood shake a few members are experiencing or do you think this would add to the problem?
I've only taken the old girl to 100 mph and I've got zero hood shake so far. Haven't really had the opportunity to open her up, so to speak...
