The trip to work is on Rt. 3 from Nashua, NH to Burlington, MA. It’s like a mini Autobahn. Average left lane speed is 75-85 during the morning commute. It’s lead, follow or get out of the way. I only have the V6 but still had her touch 110 and she liked it just fine. I was more worried about getting a ticket than the hood popping open (didn’t notice any shaking as mentioned in a few previous posts - I'll pay more attention next time). I can’t imagine getting a ticket for going over 100 mph is cheep! The snow tires feel a little weird at 90. I don’t think I’ll do that again until the snows are off her.

Just a quick test too 135MPH, no shaking, no problem and lots to go. I never believed an american muscle car would handle so good. Waiting to get out of the metro area to really test her.

Well, I parked a nippy little Blue Corvette. I don't know how fast I was going, but I was breaking for a couple seconds before the needle started to drop, I'm guessing 175 or so. I need to get me a GPS to meassure it for sure, no problems, no hood rattling just a really pissed dude in the vet :-)

Default How Fast?

I was doin' 135mph ,and there was still plenty more left to go , but I noticed something wasn't right...... I had the top down but the wind caught a hold of it and was pulling it up like a parachute , it scared the livin' shit out of me!! so I slowed down and wrapped it up.

Well I am not sure what speed I had it up to. I would say at least 160 plus, not sure of exact speed though. I had it to 145 and continued accelarating for another mile or so. It pulled the whole time just not sure what speed I made it to. One thing for sure is it was a real smooth trip, I was expecting the car to float or something but it held tight to the road. My brother in law has had several fox mustangs and asked one day how fast we going around 95? I said no about 140 and he said no way possible untill he leaned over and saw the speedo. My only complaint is no speedo to find out how fast I really am going. I have been debating on purchasing a radar gun so I can get clocked at top speed.
