I am looking for everybodys opinion on short throw shifters for my 2008 GT. What short throw shifter should i get? I am open to sugestions. I would like to know you experiences with not only driving with the shifter but installation experiences as well. How difficult it was to install. How smooth the shifts are. ect. Anything else you would like to add.
In additon i would like that old school muscle car look of the exposed shaft and white knob. But want the best shifter and not just the look.
I installed the Hurst shifter, I like the shorter throw, it's a little notchy but it nice to be able to feel it going into gear, installation was easy, I did it in my drive way on ramps in about 1 hour by myself, and it has the old school look.
