Cool Supercharger and AODE bad mix?

Hi,
I have a 94 GT convertible 5.0 with an automatic tranny. The car has about 80,000 miles. I have thought about fitting a supercharger, Vortech or Procharger to get some more power, at least around 350hp would be nice. Do you think my AODE would be able to take the extra hp. I have a Trans Go shift not yet mounted, maybe that would help. Or is it an impossible combination without major modifications?

The tranny should be fine, just get the transgo installed, and I'd invest in a higher stall torque converter, and you should be fine. Many people run S/Cs on stock auto and T-5s will little to no problems, it's only when you do package mods, such as H/C/I and S/C that you'll run into problems, but for just one or the other you should be OK. Oh, don't forget to get that thing tuned after the install, that's the key to not killing your car.

Thanks mate, might be a project for the winter but I really would like to have a 03 Cobra. We will see how things are going.
