Probably a failed sensor. Bring it to a local shop for diagnostics and they can tell you exactly what sensor is causing the issue.

I saw this and I thought people were talking about the latest ab workout guaranteed to sculpt you out in 10 minutes a day within 2 months. I guess I am too much of a gearhead for my own good to make that connection before thinking about brake systems!

I agree with Jeremy.

It's located in the lower rich front corner of the engine compartment. It consists of a brake pressure control valve block, a pump motor, and a hydraulic control unit reservior with a fuleid level indicator assembly, this is known as the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU).

If the ABS light comes on the following needs to be checked:

*) Break fluid level
*) Verify that the control module electrical connector is scurely connected
*) Check the electrical connectors at the hcu
*) Check the fuses
*) Follow the wiring harness to each whell and check that all the connections are secure and that the wiring is not damaged.
