Default Got some goodies today

The BBT dropped some good stuff off for me today:

Now I'm just waiting for the 13" brakes I ordered, and I'll be getting to some installing soon! Woo hoo!

Yeah, still have the stock shocks/struts on the car. But have it lowered with Ford C-Springs. Hoping this'll make a nice difference.

That oughta be happening this coming weekend. I got the brakes I've been waiting for, so I'll be doing everything all at once...install is slated to happen Sunday.

I can't wait.

Everything's on! Did the installation yesterday and now everything's good...the ride is nice, good stoppage with the brakes...very nice.

The process was a doozy at first...last minute preparations were a kicker and then doing the first wheel took some figuring out. But once that was accomplished, the other side was a breeze. I got over to my friend's house at 11 am and we finished at 8 pm. LOL.

Here are a few pictures of the install.

The new stuff's really nice, and the car is really handling well. It's sticking to hard turns better than it was with the stock shocks; I'm able to go through certain turns faster than before with little concern for losing traction...it's really nice now.

The brakes are fantastic too...good stopping power; nothing too dramatic versus the stock setup but enough to be noticeable.

I'm very pleased.
