Talking Turn 8 in Quebec is CAR-nivorous

Turn 8 at Le Circuit du Trois-Rivieres is turning out to be a machine smasher.
With some water on the track and coming off the second longest straightway, the turn has already claimed 3 cars this weekend.
First was Dean Martin who flipped his car and in the second practice session, Tom Long had a "moment" as he found some wet track and went into the tire wall hard. Later Ray Mason is the second Mustang to wreck out at Turn 8 as he wound up ON TOP of the tire barrier.

It does appear the turn is being an equal opportunity destroyer as both Mustangs and BMWs met the wall, but it would seem the Mustangs are its favorites this weekend.

In the ST class, the lighter (and albeit slower) cars had no reported off road incidents and arguably had to take the track with wetter conditions than the GS class.

Should be an interesting weekend.
