Default Underhood Dress-Up Help

Hey there,
I am new to this site, so don't beat me up for having a v6...I am a family man too! I have been entering my car into shows over the past few months and have learned several key factors...one being that the engine is a big place judged. I have put on hand airbrushed pieces (radiator cover and extenders, plenum, and fuse box cover), replace most hoses and wires to be either chrome or blue to match airbrush, and installed a new CAI. However, there are two areas that I cannot seem to fix...alternator and valve covers. I can get the valve covers painted as well but this is very expensive! Does anyone know where I can find metal valve covers for a 2006 v6? What about changing the alternator?

Thanks for any ideas or comments!

Well I'm not sure about all that you have under the hood without pics, but if you're looking to drastically dress everything up, look at these sites:

HoseTechniques.com: Leader in World Class Silicone Hose of Quality, Performance & Style for the Automotive Aftermarket
MUSTANG-UPR Products.com
Steeda Autosports | Everything Mustang Performance
MGW LTD., INC. - CNC Machined and Turned Parts. Accessories for the Corvette, Mustang, and Viper
Mustangs Unlimited - The Source for Mustang Parts, Shelby Parts, Cougar Parts and Accessories
Aftermarket trunk lid mat and Accessories for Chevrolet,Dodge,Ford,Pontiac
Cool Flex is the Radiator Hose that flows

Mustangs Unlimited has chrome alternators, and I think the valve covers as well.
