Default Rocker Stripes!

Has anyone removed their rocker stripes? I'm thinking of removing mine and didn't know if the paint would be different than the rest of the car as well as how difficult was it?

I've never removed any but I would think the paint would be the same unless your painted has faded and I highly doubt your paint has faded at all seeing how it a pretty new car. The difficulty of taking them off I'm not sure on but some people said it was pretty easy.

i think if you heat them up with something like a hair dryer, it might make it a little easier? that is what i used to remove the ugly looking dealer sticker they slapped on my car

I don't think you'll have issues with color variances... the car isn't really old enough for the sun to have faded it that much. As far as removing it goes you will definitely want to use a heat gun or at least a hair dryer. Be sure to clean the adhesive from your paint when you're done.

Thanks for all the advice. I removed them over a month again. They peeled right off. Only had to use a hair dryer a couple time. Total time was about 10 minutes. No adhesive or residue left behind. I sprayed down with my Meguiars spray and you can never tell they were there!
