I have a 00 v6, auto with the stock 7.5, I am trying to upgrade to the 8.8 and am wondering what yeat rear ends will fit in my car and maybe an estimated cost. I found some but they wanted way too much for a stock used 8.8 (850 to 1050). any input would be great.
.:. Mustang Performance Parts - Brothers Performance .:. sells ready to go 8.8" rear ends with gear swaps. If that doesn't float your boat than any 8.8" out of a 79-present will work, however, I'd be very leary of buying a used rear.
