so i got a new job...FINALLY!

long story short....i have a degree in architecture and have worked in the industry for the past 5 years. pretty much decided it was not for me and wanted a career change.

finally, got my foot in the door of a company that needs someone to help out with their websites and marketing efforts for them among many other web related duties. i am very excited about this opportunity and can not wait to start at the beginning of february

Awesome news! Congratulations, in this economy any kind of new job is an achievement. Kudos to you! It shows that there are still entrepeneurs out there that know are willing to invest in America. I am tired of the pessimists ranting on about a Great Depression or how terrible this country is and what not. For all of its faults I still see the USA as the shining beacon.

This is another data point that shows the underlying strength of the web economy which we have talked about in other threads on this forum. Will you be able to stay in Houston?

thanks guys...yes the job is in the houston area (north side) which is not exactly close to where i live, but i am willing to make the drive
