Default What's your winter project plans?

I plan on freshening up a 88 5.0 motor and installing a Comp Magnum cam
adv 281/284
at .050 220/224
lift .512 .533
lobe sep 112

Also porting my stock 289 Hi-Po heads for better flow.

Hoping for low 12s or better on motor then comes a 100-150 shot of the giggle juice

I guess my late fall project became my winter project... On Thursday afternoon we finally finished a major upgrade to my LX; a 331 stroker and S-Trim install. The same day I started it up and went for a test drive, we had blizzard warnings. And sure enough, it hit us right after I parked the car in my garage. So it will be awhile before I can get any real seat time with the new setup. But at least it's all together and runs.
I posted a short video clip of when it was first fired up on my MMS page.

Just paint my rear axle housing and axle brackets. Ford decided not to paint these parts in '04.
