Well theres the windows the R in the vin and the 4v motor as obviuos clues. Another thing is the 6 way head rests and the silver bezel trim (although non IUP machs do not have either of these features.)
Oh and there are MACHs on the registry with COBRA bumper covers and COBRA steering wheels and YES they came that way from FORD. (or so the owners say)

Interesting, but I do not believe that is true. One of the most common mods you see done to Mach is the Cobra bumper. If I'm not mistaken, the motor in the Mach is from the 2002 Cobras I believe with a few little tweaks done to it though.

It is in essence a 01 cobra motor however the cams and intake were reworked to improve the torque curve for the MACH. and yes there were some that got out of the FACTORY with COBRA bumper covers (on the rear)

They did not make a Cobra in 2002. Also the heads are different. The cams are from the 5.4 Navigator.

My bad, I meant to say 2001. Sorry. And you are right. It wasn't only the bumpers but it was also the brake calipers, seats, and air bag cover on the steering wheel.

Sorry, I meant to say 2001. That is what I meant by tweaks to the motor though.

I do recall seeing a yellow Mach 1 with plastic still on the seats in a port that had several GT and Cobra parts on it. How pissed was the person that got that car? Of course they could have also been ordered that way....god forbid.
