Yes I do remember! I was at work & somewhere about 10:00am I heard "a plane..." I took frequent TV breakes & after 10:51 (THE SECOND HIT) I thought, & still do, we hafta find these F'ers and kill em all & let allah sort 'em out. Still feel that way & no amount of carping by a bunch of lilly livered dems, libs, or moderate gutless Republicans will convince me otherwise. Had I not been oldern dirt I would have (re) signed up myself. Semper Fi It ain't just for Jar heads. P51BGT (Air force vet and Patriot) PS my flag is at half staff till sunset today. Keep the faith.

I was at work, trying to fix a computer. Someone came by and and asked if we had a tv in the office. I asked why, and was told that a plane had just flown into the WTC. We spent the day gathered around the radio listening to the reports, and heard the second plane hit. I never got to see the footage until I got home that night. Definately a day I will never forget.

At the time, I was still working on the assembly line at Ford, building the Super Duty F-series trucks. Someone said they had heard on the radio on morning break that an airplane had hit the first tower. Several of us had radios on the line, and we all started hearing updates, and more bad news. Someone had a 13 inch tv in one of their lockers and brought it out so we could watch the constant footage on tv while building our trucks. All we could think about was 'how could this be happening' and what is gonna happen next. Obviously "quality" was not job #1 that day, and they let us go home at 2:00 to be with our families...I'll always remember that day, and the sick, uneasy feeling I had in my stomach all day...

All I can say is "Keep the Faith Brother" as this IS the greatest nation God ever bequethed to a group of people. I mean that & I believe that. We are most fortunate to be Americans. But Freedom requires vigilance, and sometimes sacrifice. Semper Fi
