I have not done any mods. Not to sure if I want to keep clean or mod. I am thinking about adding headers, flowmasters, and repainting the motor this spring. Not sure what else I want to do just yet.
ABOUT ME
A year ago I started looking for a classic mustang to have as a project for me and my two boys Caleb (4) and Joey (8). I started looking on ebay by doing a 100 mile search of the area. I came across 2 very close by, a 65 coupe and a 66 coupe. I took both for a test drive and liked both for different reasons. The one I liked the most (the one that I eventually bought) had a reserve set way higher than I wanted to go and the auctions ended before I had made his mind up. Neither car sold. I was looking at pictures that I had taken of the cars when I test drove them trying to make up my mind as to what to do when a song came on the radio that I had never heard by Five for Fighting called 65 Mustang. That did it!! My mind was made up. I took a chance, showed up at the owners door with money in hand. Needless to say, I drove it away!
Me and my boys the car!! We have attended 2 car shows so far and plan to attend many more when the winter weather lets up.
This car has had 2 previous owners and only has 34,000 original miles on it. She's not mint, but she's well aged! And she turns heads like you wouldn't believe!
Me and the boys have thoughts to do some small modifications this spring, but time will tell.
