This car is a "real" 1994 Saleen Mustang S351, with a laser red exterior and a black cloth interior, as well as a Saleen/Vortech S-Trim Supercharger kit. The cars Saleen serial number is 94-0094. Saleen enthusiasts will know that there were not 94 S351's built in 1994. This car was given a special serial number by Saleen for a special client. The car was originally given away as a promotion for a radio station, FM 94 HJY, hence the serial number of 94. Steve Saleen came to the give away and actually drove the car, as well as signing the dash on the passenger side airbag cover. The young college student who won the car did not know how to dive a manual transmission, nor could she afford the taxes on her new prize. Charlie of Danielson Ford in Connecticut offered her money for the car on the spot and she accepted. Since they were so new and hard for Saleen authorized dealerships to get, Danielson Ford used the car as a promotional/advertising tool.
To prep the engine for the Saleen/Vortech supercharger kit I had the short block pulled and stuffed with upgraded parts and balanced & blueprinted by Charlie's Machine
